Easiest make-up ever

For someone who loves beauty products, I keep my make-up super low-key during the day usually. But like most London gals, the make-up application I do in the morning is pretty much always on the move (coffee comes first… priorities y’know).

So as I’m rushing out the door, here’s the make-up must-haves I grab on the way out:

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer

Controversial, but no foundation here. I just think it’s way too heavy on me unless I’m going somewhere special – especially in summer. Instead, I’d rather free up my skin and stick to a touch of concealer. Now, YSL’s classic Touche Éclat will always be the DREAM when it comes to under eyes… but Rimmel’s Wake Me Up Concealer is a pretty good alternative. Similar light-reflecting power and also with a decent amount of coverage for any unexpected blemishes that might of popped up overnight.

Benefit Gimme Brow

I’m always impressed by Benefit’s products, and if you love a good brow you need this in your life. This isn’t a product for those super tidy microblade-y looking arches, but instead this fibre-filled gel gives you incredible fullness, so even my sparse ones take on a more Delevingne-like finish after a couple of flicks of its (super cute) brush.

Benefit Roller Lash

Another Benefit beauty here. They’re Real is honestly one of the best mascaras I’ve ever tried, but Roller Lash somehow manages to be even better, giving lashes volume, length and curl. Oh, and it comes in a handbag-perfect mini – what more could you want?

Collection Speedy Highlighter

When it comes to contouring vs. strobing, I side firmly with the latter. This highlighting stick is a total gem both in terms of price and performance, giving you instant and easy-as dewy skin in seconds. And it’s so versatile you can use it on your cheekbones, under your brows, your cupid’s bow, your collarbones…

La Roche-Posay Lip Balm

My obsession with French pharmacy brand skincare has unsurprisingly managed to sneak into my make-up bag too, but this humble lip balm not only keeps your lips hydrated in the heat, it’s also is a handy hack for enhancing cheekbones, fixing your brows and all kinds of other good stuff.

So there you have it, easy right? Now, I’m not saying you should have a lie-in tomorrow morning or anything but…
